Technical Training
Passing on my knowledge has been a big part of my life since 1986. Some of my experiences will be passed on through these pages, however there is still no substitute for an instructor-led course where you can actually talk with someone who is facing the same issues as you on a daily basis. Currently we are seeking to form strategic partnerships with other training companies so that we can create a win-win for our clients and ourselves. Stay tuned.

Welcome to our web site; we are in the process of upgrading and enhancing the site as a showcase for the various custom components, modules and plugins that we have created.
However there is more to this site than just the Joomla! CMS extensions. We also create desktop applications for the Windows environment, the section called Software Development will have articles relating to non-Web Development tools, processes and musings.
The Web Development section will cover more than just Joomla!, we develop in other frameworks and languages.
This site will be the home of my blog, where I can pass on my experiences in the expanding technological universe.
Software Development
Microsoft Visual Studio with either VB or C# have been the primary tools. Microsoft Office with VBA (yuck) has also been an area that has been visited. I will pass on what I have learned which will include some tricks and tips that may well save you from losing your hair let alone your sanity.
Web Development
Currently our CMS of choice has been Joomla! which is now beginning to feel like a real system with the release of 1.7. From the early days of Mambo, then Joomla 1.0 (didn't dally there too long), spent a while with 1.5 and knew that there had to be a better Joomla on the production line.
Joomla 1.7 provides an opportunity for extension developers to re-visit their code as they make the conversion from 1.5. Whilst they are poking around in all those lines of code, they may well discover that Joomla 1.7 provides a built-in routine that does exactly what their 1.5 hack and possibly core modifications were trying to achieve.
